Definition of “As Is”

The Seller is selling the home and has no intentions of doing any “Buyer Requested Repairs”.
However, a few Lenders, especially FHA and VA, will require repairs and the Seller will
consider “Lender Required Repairs”.
Since we are selling the home “as is” , the costs of the repairs will be added to the
Purchase Price.
For example: The Seller and Buyer agree to the sell a home for $100,000. The lender is
requiring repairs in order to finance the home. The cost of the repairs is $2,000. The $2000
in repairs would be added to the “as is” purchase price.
